A few things worth knowing when you read your free anxiety test result:
A mild score does not mean your anxiety does not matter. Even at the lower end of the scale, if worry is affecting how you feel or function, it deserves attention. Anxiety that is not addressed tends to worsen over time, not resolve on its own.
A severe or extreme score does not mean things cannot change. Generalised anxiety disorder is one of the most treatable mental health conditions. Many people with very high scores see significant improvement with the right support.
Your score is a snapshot. It reflects the past 7 days. One of the most useful things about this GAD assessment is that your score can be tracked over time, giving your clinician a clear, objective way to see whether treatment is working.
This free anxiety test does not diagnose generalised anxiety disorder. If your result suggests moderate, severe, or extreme symptoms, a full clinical GAD assessment is the right next step. A score alone is not a basis for self-management.
